NVQ Assessors and Verifiers Training

NVQ Level 3

At QKL we offer training to enable you to become a fully qualified NVQ Assessor. You need to have worked and have qualifications in the sector you wish to assess in. As part of the qualification you need to work with at least two registered NVQ candidates. QKL can often help to introduce you to candidates that you can work with during the qualification period. We provide all the written materials you need and one to one support.

Our team offers plenty of help if you need to improve on anything, and encourages you to show your skills and collect evidence to prove that you have the potential to become a qualified NVQ assessor.

For those who have been qualified as an assessor for 18 months and want to develop their careers in NVQs we also offer training and qualification as Internal Verifiers. For this award you need to be working with a small group of NVQ assessors offering support and guidance.

QKL uses an integrated approach to include literacy and numeracy in all its training packages. We risk assess all our venues and check that clear information is given to enable learners with disabilities to be actively involved in all learning experiences.

To enrol for this qualification

You will be allocated a fully qualified and experienced assessor who will support you throughout the programme, assess your competence in the workplace and help you to provide convincing evidence through work products, witness testimonies and questioning.

You will be required to attend workshops where we will ensure you have the knowledge and understanding required for the NVQ units, be able to progress on your portfolio and have a tutorial with your assessor. On-going telephone and e-mail support will also be provided.
